A LOCAL MARKETPLACE FOR NORTHERN OHIO FLOWER FARMERS

Hello & Welcome to the Great Lakes Flower Guild– Kicking off in Spring 2026

A seasonal community experiment bringing local flower farmers and local florists together — simply, beautifully, and with a whole lot more connection than the traditional wholesale model.

We believe fresh, local flowers shouldn’t be hard to find… and farmers shouldn’t have to grow at industrial scale to participate in the market. Our Guild makes it easier for farmers to share what they grow, for florists to access what’s in season, and for all of us to feel a little more connected along the way.

What We Do

✓ Weekly Flower Market
Every Monday, businesses registered with us can place orders from our collective inventory of locally grown flowers.

✓ Support for Small-Scale Farmers
You’ll be supporting small, local flower farmers.

How It Works (The Simple Version)

Saturday: Farmers upload what they have available for the coming week.
Monday 8–5: Customers place orders on the site (register your business here).
Thursday: Pick up your flowers between 12–2pm at Blüte Farm in Vermilion.

Season 1 is intentionally simple. We’re focused on building something sustainable, not perfect.

Who This Is For

  • Small-scale and micro flower farmers

  • Florists who value fresh, local, seasonal product

  • Creatives and event designers

  • Anyone who wants to feel more connected to the land and the people who tend it

Why We’re Doing This

We’re Flower farmers in our region and we know how fun it can be to have connection, conversation, and a place to share what’s going well and what’s not.

Florists want access to local flowers but don’t always know how to source them.

The Guild exists to bridge this gap while honoring nature, simplicity, and community.
